So, I have these great cabinets from IKEA and they are suppose to just be screwed into the wall. Well when the wall
is concrete block you have to have a certain type of screw. The other problem was making sure we were also going through furring (spelling?) strips and not hitting electrical wires. All went fairly well at least for one side of each cabinet. The other side was not catching and we had to prop up the cabinets to get some molly bolts. Once those were in (by the way drilling holes through concrete does take some work) the cabinets were secured. Then the microwave cabinet. Luckily, we were able to hire someone to help since there was cutting of vents and hanging of supports...(a mere $60, thanks man). Anyway I was not there and unfortunately the wrong cabinet was
installed and they couldn't find the bolts to secure the microwave to the cabinet. So, I get home to discover this and have to help take down the cabinet and fix the new cabinet. A mere 4 hours later the right cabinet was up and the microwave was secured. Please enjoy the photos ...note the white cabinet is the wrong cabinet.
