In order to better insulate the cement block wall (and house in general) we are utilizing reflectix which is a radiant heating product that has a high R value and will increase the efficiency of the house several fold. We started by putting it up on the walls in the living room which you can see here. the product is double sided bubble wrap with aluminum foil surrounding it. Interesting I know, but it really does work you can feel theheat it keeps out while it was being put up.
