Yes, you read that right, I have a floor. It only took 6 months and 10 days, but the kitchen subfloor is complete. We used huge 3/4" plywood sheets which are quite sturdy. The first one was a pain as it had to be cute to fit around a door way and walls, but the rest mainly had to be trimmed to fit the joists for nailing. It took about 3 hours, but the floors are down. The bathroom floors are next on the list and then walls can be framed, drywall put up, and then it's just a little finishing work (or at least that is what I keep telling myself). Please keep your fingers crossed for an April move in....hoping against hope.
